Looking Through Stained Glass

The Blue Bloom

In the valley, there’s an odd bloom
It’s shades of blue, said to bring luck
When it comes to, matters of heart
Where all other, tokens have failed
Believe it will, owned it will be
But wished it must, before sunset
Some say it’s just, a fancy flight
Said once upon, an old wife’s knee
Daunted do I, dare plead my case
Down soft upon, azure petals
Munching biscuits, I first bide time
More sunlight wanes, so I decide
As I sit down, near the blue buds
And contemplate, on that one wish
